Hello,

This is my first blog. I am writing about the  experience of being in the Xth Std.

So, as I am pushing myself to this whole new level of testing my ability to mug up something from the dry pages of my textbooks and then just vomiting it out in the so called 'tests' and 'exams', I am now realising that the SSC exam is not really a joke. Well, I am absolutely sure that most of my fellow SSC mates would agree. We can hear all those aunties telling us, "Aur beta, abhi 10th mein ho na ........Padhai acche se chal rahi hai ki nahi." And of course Sharma uncle's son and Khanna aunty's niece is going to get better marks than me.

Once the timetable's out in public, the 'Kaun Banega Topper of the Year' is the new popular reality show. Sadly, our education system tests our capacity to mug up 3/4ths of our textbooks. Then comes the time when we have to fill the form for registration ration. And by then, students are busy studying, completing Science Journals, notebooks, workbooks etc.

Once we are done with the exams , we can relax for three whole months. And finally, the day of result arrives. Everyone, our parents to teachers to uncles and aunties and Jupiter wale mausa and Neptune wali mami, would be waiting in anticipation with bated breath. "Kyu beta kitne percentage mile?" If it's a good result then, the questionnaire will change its subject. If not, the 'Questionnaire Season 2'

Ah well, as for me, I am yet to experience this big drama. so I wish all the best to my fellow SSC mates and those who are to appear next year for the same.
