Hello again, dear readers.
So, now that I managed to make time for my blog, allow me to describe my current situation (also few of my fellow SSC mates).
Now is the time when we can put in our best efforts and score good marks and also make up to the failure (not literally, at least in my case😋). So, my school is having its first semester exams starting from 26th of this month. And I can honestly say that I am in all good time. Nothing to worry about.
But, as we all know that nothing is permanent, it is the same when it comes to peace. While I, and also if I may include my fellow SSC mates, would be preparing for the semesters, it would seem as though the teachers in the school are not satisfied with our preparatory methods. So what would they do? Oh, that's easy. They would assign us with revision assessments.
Now, I feel that it is absolutely necessary for the teachers to assist us, help us out, take up revision tests, etc. However, I think that the meaning of revision has changed. Now, revision does not mean practising sums, or reciting poems or writing tables. Apparently, copying sums from solution books, writing out large paragraphs from the science textbook and repeating that three times is the new form of revision. And the bonus? You have to complete the darn thing and submit it within two days.
Will someone please tell me what shall I do with those assignments. What's the point of a revision where we are only copying and writing? Is this called revision? Well, personally, I think that it is complete waste of time. Instead of writing out assignments we should be practising the difficult sums in the textbook. Well, obviously there is nothing we can do about it. However I hope that things change for the future 'Ickle Tenthies'
Also, please excuse me for having such a long gap between my blogs, and I don't think I have to explain the reason.
Anyway, that's all for now.
Adieu!
